Year 4's camp

On the 29 of October, Year 4 went on a camp trip to the cattle station where we spent two days and one night.It was so much fun out there.There was a lot to do like horse riding , swimming, milking cows, playing math games and orienteering but best of all was the camp fire. Time really flew while we were down there.When it was time to go I felt a bit sad that we had to leave. I had the best experience. Everyone was very tied on the bus back to school.

My reflection

Today I learnt how to transfer a poem from imagechef to my blog. I can now use imagechef to publish my poems. Mrs Mitchell told me that what I was actually doing was copying an html code, which is the computers way of writing. It is computer langauge.I can't believe that I can do all of these things.

Term 2 reflection

This term we set 2 goals. My goals were speed and accuracy on Maths. The other one was reading more books. I have done very well on them both. I would like to achieve those goals all the year. I have made lots of friends. I'm learning lots of things this term. I have experienced lots of facts I have not known.  I have enjoyed this term. I love Grammar School!!!

Drug Awareness Week

This week we have been learning about Drugs and safety. Dr Rane came on 29th May to tell us about how to put someone in the safety position.We got to watch a move. Then we got to go with a partner and try it our self.I learnt that you could be anywhere for someone to collapse or you to.

Going to the Palmetum

On Thursday the 14th of May we went to Palmetum. To look at different types of enviroments.My group went to the desert 1st.I learnt that not all enviroments are the same because of the weather, types of plants and light.We saw lots of animals like:walibys, kangeroos,ants,flys and more.I had lots of fun there with my freinds parents and of cores Mrs Michel.
